Acclaimed Actress Diane Ladd, Famed For Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Dies at the Age of 89.

The Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Ladd, a Hollywood veteran left us 89 years old.

This actress, with roles featured Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, passed away at home at her Ojai, California home. This announcement was revealed via an announcement by her offspring, Oscar-winning actor her daughter Laura Dern.

Laura Dern, who appeared with Diane Ladd in several movies like Wild at Heart, called her “my incredible hero as well as my precious gift as a mother”, noting that she was by her side as she died.

“She was an exceptional mother, daughter, grandmother, star, artist as well as compassionate soul that seemed almost dreamlike,” she stated. “We were fortunate to know her. She is now with the angels.”

Early Career and Rise to Fame

Personal Life

She was additionally a family member of playwright Tennessee Williams, who she called “a significant impact throughout my life”.

During 2018, doctors misdiagnosed Ladd with lung disease and advised her life expectancy was six months but she regained full health after her daughter transferred her to a different hospital.

“When you use your pain and prevent it from festering like an injury, instead use it to discover, to make the path clearer for personal and collective growth, then you are succeeding,” Ladd remarked.
