Passionate supporters of the pop star are calling for that a man who jumped a barricade and seized the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating clip shows the Australian man bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed features clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Several fans blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another message on Instagram.

A number of fans also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others requested online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.
