Baroque Works is set to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until season 3, and a cherished, popular member has recently been selected.

The platform declared this week that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bon Clay. This character can use their power to transform into an exact copy of any individual they’ve touched with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that role reimagined as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the initial comic and animated series.

Escola joins multiple fresh additions who will portray the group to reality, such as head Mr. 0, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the ensemble as the ruler of the desert kingdom.

Even though the role is a important part of Baroque Works, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. With the next season likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this marks a significant shift in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could suggest additional alterations to the narrative framework.
